I decided that my main problem with how Tuxedo Kamen’s mask is always executed is that the eye holes tend to be really small relative to what often winds up being a rather bulky mask.
I really love Sailor Moon’s original goggles, though. The slender frames keep it from getting so much in the way of the facial features. So I wondered what it would be like if Tuxedo Kamen wore Sailor Moon’s goggles instead. And uh…
Apparently the answer is that it makes him look like the biggest frigging hipster in Tokyo.
Hipster Mamoru…. can this be a thing?
“I dress like a horrible 80s cliche…… ironically.”
“Human best friends? Nah, too mainstream; mine are rocks.”
“I’m in love with the Moon Princess, you’ve probably never heard of her.”
“I saved Sailor Moon before it was cool.”
(these are all horrible, someone more clever than I am get on this!)
My Favorite Comics, #3, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi

After a couple of long weeks, it’s finally finished. And I promise that the shading isn’t me coloring out of the lines, that’s, for some reason, where the shading was originally. And until I get better with shading, I’m not messing with that, haha.
As much as I love Usagi & Mamoru, I absolutely HATE his tuxedo. It’s a bitch to color.
But overall I’m okay with it. On to the next one. :)

Good grief, it’s like a bubble factory exploded in that last panel or something. Did you really have to draw that many, Naoko?!
Anyway, this was really friggin hard to do but still pretty fun. Maybe I should have tried to make the bubbles white, but I rather like them with color to them….

Second manga colouring.
Tried to do a bit more with the shading, but I’m still having a tough time with it. Suuucks. Haha. But, I’m getting there, I hope. I’m not sure if I’m 100% happy with it, so there might be a repost of it with some changes, but we’ll see.
Thoughts? Critiques? I’m open to anything that could help me improve these “skills”, baha.
